The Cork Business Association (CBA) welcomes today’s announcement and acknowledges the potential economic benefits of Mahon Point Shopping Centre’s proposed mixed-use expansion, including residential (251 homes), office (400+ jobs), and retail space. We particularly welcome the residential component, which will bolster the area’s  current strength as an employment hub.
We look forward to engaging in the planning process, ensuring  this proposal for growth benefits both local businesses and Cork’s long-term vibrancy. We encourage CBA members to attend  Mahon Point’s information evening, open to members of the public, on July 8th between 4-7pm in Mahon Point’s community room, and we also welcome your feedback directly.
