Description:

Due to continued growth & demand in the construction industry, we are currently recruiting a Workshop Assistant / Trainee Plant Fitter.

FULL TRAINING PROVIDED! NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - JUST A GOOD MECHANICAL ABILITY AND WILLINGNESS TO LEARN. This is a fulfilling environment with an opportunity for career growth.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a good basic mechanical ability, a willingness to learn about our equipment and plant and have the dedication to ensure the yard and workshop areas are maintained to the highest standards.

Duties:

*Assisting the plant fitters with repair / service jobs (full training & guidance provided);

*Preparing equipment for hire;

*Assisting drivers / customers with loading / unloading construction equipment;

*Work according to Health & Safety;

* Yard duties: cleaning and washing machines, keeping yard & workshop tidy;

*Develop great relationships with new and existing customers;

*Ablity to work on own initiative if the plant fitters are not around;

*Any other duties as required by plant fitters / managers.
